SUMMARY:Adult OCD / Anxiety Sufferers Group
DESCRIPTION:Our member-led adult OCD/anxiety support group meets on the first Thursday of each month from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Memorial Hospital (3625 University Blvd.) within Classroom #4. (NOTE: This group is being held via Zoom indefinitely due to COVID concerns.) Detailed instructions on how to get to the room can be viewed below.\nThe group is ideal for OCD and/or anxiety sufferers over the age of 18. It aims to educate, inform, support, and instruct members about obsessive-compulsive disorder, which includes but is not limited to setting personal goals, learning strategies for ameliorating symptoms, sharing success stories, working together for mutual benefit, providing support to the family system and/or significant others, and promoting the common good of all members regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, and religious affiliation.\nAll group sessions are led by someone diagnosed with OCD and/or a caregiver for someone with OCD.\nFor more information about attending the adult support group, contact info@ocdjacksonville.com ( mailto:info@ocdjacksonville.com )\n
